  • Description: A dying woman, just before passing away, confides in the couple who have been caring for her that her lost husband is a very rich man. She urges them to find him for the sake of her dear daughter Aliki. The couple, bewildered by the unexpected news, desperately try to marry their only son, Nikos, to the “rich” bride, but Aliki outright refuses. She does so not only because she loves someone else, but also because she is pregnant, in spite of the fact that she has recently split up with her beloved on account of a silly argument.
